Calculator Place (“we”, “us”, or “the site”) runs a simple, free calculator website. We don’t ask you to create an account or hand over personal information. This page explains what small amount of data we do process and why.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
Nothing that identifies you. Values you type into calculator forms (loan amounts, weights, dates, etc.) are processed in your browser or submitted to our server to compute a result. We don’t store these values anywhere, and they are not tied to any user profile.
Information collected automatically
- Server access logs. Our web server records the IP address, user-agent string, referrer, requested URL, and timestamp of each request. This is standard for any website and is used for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and debugging. Logs are retained for up to 30 days and then discarded.
- Cookies we set ourselves. We use a small number of first-party cookies: a CSRF token (security), a theme preference (light/dark), and a locale preference (language). None of these identify you personally or are shared with third parties.
2. Third-party services
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure traffic patterns— which calculators are popular, which devices and browsers readers use, what pages lead to what. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and may record a truncated version of your IP address. Refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for details. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Google AdSense
We display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and identifiers to show you ads, measure ad performance, and sometimes personalize ads based on your browsing history across sites. You can manage your ad personalization at any time at Google Ad Center.

4. Your choices
- Block cookies in your browser settings. The calculators will still work; theme and language preferences simply won’t persist between visits.
- Use a privacy-focused browser (Brave, Firefox with strict tracking protection, Safari on iOS) to block analytics and ad cookies automatically.
- Opt out of personalized ads via Google Ad Center or the industry opt-out at YourAdChoices.
5. Rights under GDPR & CCPA
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, applicable privacy laws give you specific rights regarding personal data. Because we do not maintain user accounts or store personal information beyond short-lived server logs, most of these rights (access, correction, deletion) have no data to act upon on our side. If you wish to request information or deletion concerning data held by our third-party providers (Google), please contact them directly using the links above.

6. Children
Calculator Place is a general-audience tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to remove it.
7. Data security
The site is served over HTTPS. Server logs are stored on the host where the application runs; they are not sold, shared, or transferred except where required by law or to investigate suspected abuse. We do not conduct cross-site tracking beyond the third-party analytics and advertising services disclosed above.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as we add features or as legal requirements evolve. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Significant changes will be noted here; we recommend checking back periodically.
