Terms of Use
Last updated: May 13, 2026
These terms explain what you can expect from Calculator Place (“we”, “us”, or “the site”) and what we expect from you. They're written in plain language because they're designed to actually be read. By using the site you agree to them.
1. What the site is
Calculator Place is a free, ad-supported collection of calculators and written guides covering personal finance, health, fitness, seller fees, and everyday math. It's a self-service tool — there are no accounts, no logins, and no submission of personal data beyond the values you type into a calculator form.
2. Not professional advice
The calculators and guides here are educational tools. They are not, and are not intended to be, a substitute for:
- Professional financial, tax, or legal advice from a licensed adviser.
- Medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a qualified healthcare provider.
- Real-time market data, regulatory filings, or fiduciary recommendations.
Tax rates, fee schedules, regulatory thresholds, and similar figures change frequently. We update them as we notice changes, but we can't guarantee every number is current at the moment you view it. Always verify against an authoritative source for any decision that materially affects you.
3. Accuracy
We try hard to make the calculators correct. Each one is built from a published formula, tested against known reference values, and reviewed when we add new features. If you find a discrepancy, please tell us and we'll fix it.
That said, the site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for losses, decisions, or outcomes that result from use of the calculators or guides. If you make a financial, medical, or business decision based on a result you computed here, that decision is yours.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the site freely for any lawful personal or business purpose. You may share results, screenshots, and permalinks. You may link to any page.
Please don't:
- Scrape the site at high volume in a way that interferes with normal use by others.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security headers, or CSRF protections.
- Use the site to host or serve content you don't have rights to.
- Use automated tools to submit forms en masse for purposes other than legitimate testing.
- Attempt to compromise the server, other users' sessions, or any third-party services we use.
We may rate-limit, block, or otherwise restrict access from sources that abuse the site. We also reserve the right to modify or retire any calculator at any time.
5. Intellectual property
The calculator implementations, written guides, page designs, and underlying source code on Calculator Place are © 2024–2026 Calculator Place unless otherwise noted. The mathematical formulas themselves (mortgage amortization, BMI, Mifflin–St Jeor, etc.) are not original to us and are not claimed.
You may quote short passages from the guides with attribution and a link back. Please don't republish entire pages or use the site's content to train commercial models without asking us first.
6. Third-party services
We use a small set of third parties to operate the site:
- Google Analytics, for aggregate traffic data.
- Google AdSense, to serve advertisements that fund the site.
- Cloudflare and a CDN provider, for hosting static assets.
- Bootstrap, HTMX, and Chart.js via public CDN.
Each of these has its own terms and privacy practices, summarized in our Privacy Policy.
7. Advertisements
Ads on this site are served by Google AdSense and similar networks. We don't directly choose individual ads or endorse the products being advertised. If you see an ad that violates Google's policies (illegal content, fraud, malware), please report it through Google's flag tool or contact us so we can block the category.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will also be noted on the homepage for a reasonable period.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Clark County, Nevada, unless required otherwise by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
